Mescalero Sand Dunes is open year-round and has 610 acres of sand dunes. Camping is permitted but there are no water or electric hookups so come prepared. Some basic amenities are available such as picnic tables, shelters and BBQ grills which can be found at the Cottonwood area. The Northern Bowl area also has picnic tables and some sun shelters. Whip flags and sand tires are recommended.
