Bonnet Carre Spillway

AKA: St. Charles Parish, Mississippi River, Lake Pontchartrain, Spillway Levee, Barbars Canal Road, Bonnie Carrie Spillway

Summary


Bonnet Carre Spillway has about 850 acres of woods trails and a couple makeshift motocross tracks. Terrain mainly consists of sand and clay and can get very muddy during wet weather. Most of the trails are smooth and fast with a few that are rough. The ATV area is open to day use only but camping is permitted at St. Charles Parish Recreation Pavilion Area.
