From May 15 to November 30, the trail is open to OHV use. From December 1 to May 14 it is open to hiking only. White Sulphur OHV Trail System is composed of several Forest Service roads and trails in the White Sulphur area, forming a 17-mile trail system of connecting loops. It is located near Cave Run Lake on the Cumberland Ranger District. The trail is located in moderately rugged terrain, primarily following ridgetops. From I-64 East, take exit 123. Travel east on KY 60 and turn right on KY 211 to Salt Lick. From I-64 West, take exit 133. Turn left on KY 801 and then right on KY 60. Turn left ont KY 211 to Salt Lick. From KY 211, turn left onto Forest Service Road 129. Just past the Clear Creek Country Store, turn left onto Forest Service Road 105. The White Sulphur trailhead is located 1/4-mile past the White Sulphur Horse Camp.
Camping is available at Clear Creek and Zilpo Campground. Camping is not allowed at the trailhead or along the trail. The White Sulphur Horse Camp is not open to OHV riders. Parking: Parking is available between dawn and 10 p.m. at the trailhead off Forest Service Road 105. This trail does not meet accessibility standards for persons with disabilities.
