This state park has about 15 miles of multiple use trails that wind through a beautiful forest. There are several parking spots to choose from however the staging area off of Highway 119 has plenty of room for large trailers or RVs. The trail from the southern point starts out a bit rocky but eventually smoothes out. There is a short section of paved road just north of the staging area near Pisgah Reservoir.
