Summary


The groomed snowmobile trail system is over 100 miles and extends into the Stillwater State Forest.  Entry points include Canyon Creek Snowpark, Whitefish Lake, Olney, and Fitzsimmons Parking Lots.  The Flathead Snowmobile Association grooms this trail.

Please see the current Over Snow Vehcile Use Map for area and trail restrictions. Maps are available at all Flathead National Forest district offices. All snowmobiles must display a current registration sticker while on public lands.  Contact MT Fish, Wildlife, and Parks for more information.

Directions

Approximately 6 miles north of Columbia Falls on the North Fork Road.  To find the North Fork Road take Nucleus Avenue north through Columbia Falls, turn east on Railroad Street at the stop sign, this becomes the North Fork Road as it travels over the railroad overpass.
