Superior OHV Trail is currently 17 miles long. Additional miles may be added in the future. A trailhead off State Route 52 accesses this section of trail (coordinates given): Superior Trailhead is located at - 82° 41’ 31.891” W, 38° 40’ 30.347” N From the south - Take highway 93 from Ironton 10 miles to state route 522. Turn west and go 3 miles to trailhead. From the west - Take state route 522 from Wheelersburg east 12.5 miles to trailhead. The trail also has two connector trails to the Pine Creek OHV System for continuous riding opportunities and additional traihead access points. The trail system is open to all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), off-highway motorcycles (OHMs), mountain bikes, and hiking. Trail width limit is 50 inches.

Possession of an alchoholic beverage is prohibited within 100 feet of the centerline of the designated OHV trails, as defined on the closure order map(s). All OHV riders must wear eye protection and an approved D.O.T. helmet. Riders are confined to designated trails. Riders must have a Wayne NF Trail Permit and an Ohio APV Tag.
