The Jennie Lake Trailhead includes a  hitching rack and information kiosk. A second trailhead for Jennie Lake is on FS Road 348 on Crooked River, 1.5 miles before the Forest Service (FS) Road 372 trailhead. The Crooked River Trailhead is intended to handle vehicles with horse trailers, as FS Road 372 trailhead has limited parking and turn around for larger vehicles.

Directions

From Idaho City, Idaho, travel north along State Highway 21 approximately 18 miles to the Forest Service (FS) Road 384.  This road is also referred to as the Crooked River/Little Owl Road. Follow Forest Service (FS) Road 384 for 6 miles to the intersection with FS Road 348. Proceed along FS Road 348 to the intersection of FS Road 372. Continue along FS Road 372 a short 200 yards to the trailhead.
