Rice Canyon OHV Area has 120 acres of desert trails, a couple make shift motocross tracks, hill climbs and a play area near the staging area. There is also a long ATV trail that heads northwest that goes by Antelope Mountain and ends at Hwy 139. The staging area has plenty of room for large trailers and has an informational kiosk but there is no shade or water so come prepared. Camping with full hookups can be found a few minutes away in Susanville. Recent improvements have been made to the main entrance road and trailhead, and the installation of a small picnic area. Future plans include adding a shade/gazebo structure, vault toliet and loading ramps.
