Prison Hill

AKA: Snyder Ave, Carson River, Mexican Dam, Nevada State Medium Security Prison, Quilici Dam

Summary

Prison Hill has scenic views of the valley and it's unique rock formations provide a fun challenge for both jeeps and motorcycles. The trails surrounding the rock formations are a mixture of sand washes and hardpack, with mostly typical high desert vegetation and terrain with some very steep slopes. The main staging area has plenty of room for parking and has a novice friendly play area and makeshift motocross track. Overall Prison Hill has a little of everything and is a good spot for a quick day ride.
