This 9 mile multiple use trail follows an old railroad bed along the Sugar River. The trail goes over many bridges, including two covered bridges and the area has some nice forest scenery. As expected, the terrain is all easy to moderate with no steep hills and it's a nice easy ride for all skill levels including kids. The trail is open daily and is one of the few motorized trails that remain open during mud season. Parking is available off Belknap Avenue as well as on the opposite end off Route 11. Again, this is a multiple use trail that is also popular with mountain bikers and hikers, so use caution.
