Rattlesnake Trail - This trail is a wonderful day hike with beautiful views of a large portion of the Middle Fork of the Payette River. It travels up the ridge between Rattlesnake Creek and Silver Creek to an old Forest Service Lookout, which is evident by an alidade stand. Campgrounds near the trail include Peace Creek Trail, Rattlesnake Campground, Trail Creek Campground, Silver Creek Campground, Silver Creek Plunge.

From Boise, Idaho, take State Highway 55 north 35 miles to Banks, Idaho approximately 35 miles. At Banks, turn (right) east onto the (Banks-Lowman Road) State Highway17 and proceed to Crouch, Idaho.
