Summary


Camp Creek Trail - The trail crosses Camp and Tally Creeks several times, and from the ridge there are great views of Pine and Featherville. The trail is open to motorized recreation from October 1 to June 15, and to snowmobiles from December 1 to May 15. The area surrounding the trail is grazed by cattle in the summer and fall. Stock tanks provide water for grazing cattle and trail horses. At its north trailhead, the Camp Creek trail is intersected by Crosscut and Bear Hole trails. The 17 mile Crosscut trail goes northeast toward Horse Ranch Mountain and southwest toward Forest Service (FS) Road 151, and the 4.5 mile Bear Hole trail travels northwest toward FS Road 129.

Directions

From Boise, Idaho travel south on Interstate 84 (I-84) approximately 40 miles. At exit 95 (State Highway 20) on I-84, travel east on State Highway 20 for 20 miles to the intersection of Forest Service (FS) Road 134. From this intersection, go northwest toward Anderson Ranch Reservoir on FS Road 134 for about 4 miles to the intersection of FS Road 113. Go about 10 miles northeast on FS Road 113, which parallels the west side of the reservoir and intersects FS Road 123. Go north on FS Road 123 about 5 miles

Camp Creek Trailhead - is a signed site with visitor information, registration box and a loading/unloading ramp for ATVs. (Latitude 43.47602 / Longitude -115.35799). All trailheads have parking space. Crosscut Trailhead - is a signed site with visitor information, registration box and loading/unloading ramp for ATVs. It serves Crosscut (#172), Bear Hole (#176), Camp Creek (#177) and Green Creek (#270) trails. (Latitude 43.52249 / Longitude -115.39221).
