Trailhead #01. The Dry Creek Trail Paiute #01 Trail is accessed via Forest Road #475. This ATV trail heads south along Dry Creek where it eventually turns into a very rough mostly ATV trail. If you stay on forest Road #475 it will turn into Forest Road #476 taking you into the upper elevations of Sargent Mountain.

Travel on Interstate 70 to exit 17. Exit to the north to Clear Creek CanyonRoad. Turn east towards Fremont Indian State Park Museau. Turn right onto Paiute #01 trail and follow under the freeway to the trailhed.
