Sylvan Lake is a popular spot for assorted winter ativities including ski ttheing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing. The lake is owned by the State of Colorado and is managed by the Colorado State Parks. There are a number of opportunites for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling in the area.
