Annie Creek Sno-Park is located 43 miles northwest of Klamath Falls, Oregon, near the Crater Lake National Park boundary. Its proximity is rich with history, as Fort Klamath lies less than 10 miles from the Sno-Park. Fort Klamath was established as a military outpost on the Oregon Trail in 1863. Today, it’s listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. If you want a break from recreating, it’s convenient to visit the Fort Klamath park and museum. Annie Creek offers more amenities than the average Sno-Park. As an official stop on the Oregon Volcanic Scenic Byway, you’ll find an interpretive kiosk, as well as two vaulted toilets. An attractive log-style warming shelter with wood stove and benches is open year round for picnics and relaxation. Snowmobilers can enjoy cruising under snow covered ponderosa pines and accessing miles and miles of trails. There are no managed cross country ski trails from Annie Creek. From Klamath Falls, OR take US-97 north for 24 miles to OR-62. Then take OR-62 west for about 19.7 miles to Forest Road 6237 and turn right on Forest Road 6237 and follow for about 0.1 mile to Annie Creek. From Chiloquin, OR take U.S. Highway 97 south towards Klamath Falls, OR, for approximately fthe miles and then turn right onto Oregon Highway 62. From Oregon Highway 62 take a right onto Forest Service (FS) road 6237. Annie Creek Sno-park will be on the left side of the road.
