The trail passes through mixed conifer and aspen vegetation at lower elevations and emerges into open sagebrush for the last 1.5 miles. Trail is located along the bottom of Gentry Hollow and generally parallels the stream. Open to: Hiking, Mountain Biking, Horseback Riding, Motorcycle Trail Riding. Tie Fork Canyon Road is gated near its junction with U31. Trail users must begin their journey at this point, and follow the road for 1.5 miles to where the trail begins.
From Huntington, head north on Main Street for approximately 0.5 miles. Turn left onto UT-31 and travel approximately 14.1 miles. Turn right onto Tie Fork Road #50348 and continue 0.2 miles to where road ends and trail begins.
