Middle Fork Calispell OHV Trails

Summary


The trails consist of 10 miles of former logging roads which wind through the forest.  A portion of the trail system is looped.  Many users camp in the Calispell Creek drainage which provides numerous unimproved dispersed camp sites.  County Road #2022 which accesses the drainage as well as some Forest Service roads is open to all motorized vehicles providing many riding opportunities for motorized enthusiasts.

Directions

From Newport, WA:  Follow State Highway 20 north for 11.0 miles to the junction of West Calispell Road (County Road #9205). Follow West Calispell Road, which crosses State Highway 211, for 6.7 miles. Turn left onto the Middle Fork Calispell Road (County Road #2022) and follow it 4.3 miles to the trailhead. Google map directions from Newport, WA
