Henderson Flats OHV Trail System

Summary


Located in the Crooked River National Grassland, Henderson Flats OHV Trail System consists of around 18 miles of marked and rated trails, a separate play area and a beginners loop. The main staging area has plenty of room for trailers and also has some loading ramps, picnic tables and some shady spots. The main routes are mostly smooth and fast and form nice long loops.The terrain is a mix of sand and clay and the trails wind through a juniper and pine tree forest with some scenic mountain views.

Trail Information: Henderson Flat Staging Area

This trailhead provides access to the entire Henderson Flat OHV Trail System.  The trailhead is easy to access and has a large parking area that can accommodate vehicles of every size.  There are no water services here and no garbage services either, so please be a considerate visitor and pack out what you use. FS Regulation

Trails on the Henderson Flat Trail System are CLOSED from 11/30 to 4/1 every year so you may NOT ride the trails at that time.  Additionally, since the trails are not in use, the staging area is not maintained as frequently.

Directions

From Culver, Oregon: Head south on Culver Highway for approximately 2 miles. Turn right and merge onto Highway 97 to continue going south. Proceed for 5 miles then turn left onto Park Lane. Follow Park Lane for 2 miles to the boundary of Crooked River National Grassland. At the boundary this becomes Forest Service Road 57. Stay left when the road turns sharply, and Henderson Flat Staging area will be on ythe right in approximately 3/4 mile. From Terrebonne, Oregon: Head north on Highway 97 for approximate
