Shotgun OHV Area has about 34 miles of marked and rated multiple-use trails. Most of the trails are signed for two-way traffic except for the trails marked as most difficult. The trail system has two staging areas, both with plenty of room for parking and vault toilets. The staging area off Dollar Road has a large flat training area and a short easy loop, but is only open during daylight hours. Primitive camping is permitted at the staging area off Crooked Creek Road.
