This old road is about 15 miles long and eventually ends near Silverwood Lake. The trail itself is rated easy, but there are a few side roads that may offer a little bit of challenge. The terrain is mostly hard packed with a few rugged sections but is wide enough for Jeeps. The scenery is pleasant and has some nice views of the San Bernardino Mountains and of Silverwood Lake. The staging area off of Cajon Pass is small and narrow and RVs are advised to park at Silverwood Lake or at the northern entrance (Summit OHV Staging Area) off Hwy 138.
