With a large play area, variety of trails, makeshift MX track, a small sand dune plus a gorgeous canyon that leads to a waterfall, Panaca Trails has a little of everything. There is even a small but pleasant pond at the main staging area that makes for a decent swimming hole if you dare. To locate the waterfall, just stay on the main road from the staging area (Spring Road). Veer right, right, then left to avoid the private driveways and around the bend and across the valley floor until you reach the entrance of Condor Canyon (huge canyon walls on both sides - you'll know it when you see it). Stay on the main trail for about 4 miles until it appears to end, then take the side trail down to the right. If the water level is too high, you can park here and hike about 1/8 mile to the falls.
