Summary


Located in the Roosevelt National Forest, this popular offroad area has some technical single track, challenging hillclimbs and several steep, rocky 4x4 trails with rewarding scenic mountain views. Camping is permitted but there are no services so come prepared. There are currently no fee charged to ride the area, however the Forest Service may change this in the near future.

From Boulder head west on US Highway 36 for five miles. Turn west on Left Hand Canyon Drive, signed for Ward and Jamestown. Continue 4.5 miles west to the entrance.
